Ashton Naylor is a singer-songwriter from San Marcos, Texas, crafting a sound that blends country grit with rock energy and heartfelt storytelling. Growing up surrounded by music spanning from Willie Nelson to Pearl Jam, he developed a deep appreciation for diverse influences. He found his passion for songwriting in college, later studying music at South Plains College before returning home to refine his craft at Texas State University. Inspired by Red Dirt legends like Cross Canadian Ragweed and Reckless Kelly, as well as poetic songwriters such as James McMurtry and Robert Earl Keen, Ashton’s music reflects both raw emotion and thoughtful lyricism.
